Recruiting weekends

Each year, we bring new recruits to campus for weekend visits. Students arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning, and attend an orientation Friday morning. Friday afternoon and Saturday morning provide the opportunity for several one-on-one meetings with faculty members. There is also ample opportunity to meet with current CMB students, including a poster session late on Friday afternoon, followed by dinner with current students. After interviews on Saturday morning, individual CMB faculty members take students out to lunch, and then the visitors choose one of several optional activities Saturday afternoon (e.g., tour of Durham and the campus, sports activity such as volleyball, etc.). Finally, faculty members welcome a group of visiting recruits, current CMB students, and CMB faculty to their homes for a dinner and party on Saturday evening. No activities are planned on Sunday.

This year our recruiting weekends are 2/8-10 and 2/22-24.
