Recruiting weekends

Each year, we bring new recruits to campus for weekend visits. Students arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning, and attend an orientation Friday morning. During the day on Friday there are several one-on-one meetings with faculty members. There is also ample opportunity to meet with current CMB students, including a poster session late on Friday afternoon. Faculty members welcome groups of visiting recruits, current CMB students, and CMB faculty to their homes for dinner on Friday, and after a brunch on Saturday the visitors can depart or choose one of several optional activities including a tour of Durham and the campus and sports activities such as volleyball, etc.

This year our recruiting weekends are 2/5-6 and 2/19-20, 2010.
