Registering for Courses

Duke University uses the computerized ACES service for all course registration. A Duke login and password are required to access the ACES system.

General tips about registering:

• Be sure you are registered for Continuation and then register for courses.
• Confirm that you are properly registered and that no courses remain in your book bag you plan to take.
• Pay attention to the drop/add deadline
• Because Summer and Fall registration for continuing students occurs at the same time, confirm that you are registering for both
• When you register for Summer semester, make sure you register for the entire summer and not just Session I or II
• Students must be officially registered each semester to receive a stipend
