Application of high-throughput technologies in conjunction with traditional experimental methods to better understand the biology of cancers.
Research Description: 

Active efforts in the laboratory and clinic include:
Application of high throughput sequencing to identify means of gene regulation in normal and malignant cells.
Integrating genomic technologies with clinical trials to define molecular subgroups of patients who are most likely to respond to therapy.
Generating novel models of cancers based on genetic mutations that occur in human tumors.
